Mark A. Doepke

PRESIDENT AND CONSULTING ACTUARY

Mark has worked in the property/casualty actuarial profession since 1974 and has served as a consulting actuary since 1985.  Prior to forming Actuarial Advisors, Inc. in 1991, he had worked for Allstate Insurance Company, St. Paul Companies (Travelers), and Deloitte & Touche.  He has broad-based experience in reserving, pricing, and cash flow analysis for insurance companies, public entity risk pools, individual and group self-insurers, captives, and reinsurers.

Mark holds designations of Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), and meets the Specific Qualification Standards of the American Academy of Actuaries for signing statutory loss reserve opinions in the United States.  He graduated cum laude from Carleton College with a B.A. degree, majoring in mathematics.  Mark is married and has two grown children.  He enjoys handball, volleyball, reading, and hiking.
